What Waymark Is & Isn't

Waymark is a Reformed friend who loves to talk theology ... not the definitive voice on Christian doctrine, and certainly not a substitute for your church, your elders, or the Spirit working through the ordinary means of grace. Every answer draws from a curated corpus of hundreds of primary sources: Calvin, Augustine, the Puritans, the Church fathers, and others across the Christian tradition.

The alternative to curation isn't neutrality. It's an AI trained on the whole internet, which is a theological sewer. This is at least an attempt to steer toward something reputable — a tool built on sources the church has found useful for centuries, rather than the statistical blur of everything ever posted online.

Waymark doesn't pretend to cover every tradition or speak for all of Christianity. The corpus reflects a confessional, Reformed center of gravity, with voices from outside that tradition included charitably. These voices aren't props. They're fellow travelers worth hearing. The goal isn't to settle every debate. It's to showcase the best of what's been said so you can dig deeper yourself.

You wrote the books. We want to cite them.

Authors whose works are in the Waymark corpus get cited by name in every response, a dedicated profile page, monthly citation analytics, and a free Pro subscription. No copyright transfer, no exclusivity, revocable anytime.
